Kenbrena's Social Groups

 

 

Social Group 7:  Jartas 

The Jartas make up 4 - 6% of the population and tend to stick together. They speak the Jarta language, with many speaking Anglese. They are primarily of the labor class.  Very few Jartas are in positions of decision-making.

 Social Group 1:
The Anglese

The Anglese are a combination of several major related groups. They feel superior to other groups and control most of the governmental jobs. The Anglese are financially well-to-do, and make up about 55- 60% of the total population on the continent of Kenbrena.

Social Group 6:  Franklos

The Franklos tend to get along with most other groups. Many are mixtures of Anglese, Redars, and Sotrep cultures. They make up 3 – 5% of the population and speak Franklos and some Anglese. They are culturally oriented.

Social Group 2: 
The Redars

The Redars make up a large minority (about 10- l2%) of the population that has benefited from their demands for equal treatment. They speak the Anglese language, dislike the TALESE, and make up a large number of the unemployed.

Social Group 5:  Talese

The Talese make up 3 - 6% of the population but control much of the financial and business concerns of the continent of Kenbrena. They speak Anglese and tend to stick together in clans.

Social Group 4:  Sotrep

The Sotrep are closely related to the SAKNICH. They have been strongly influenced by the Franklos. Their language is a mixture of SAKNICH and Franklos.  Many also speak Anglese. They dislike the Redars and Anglese. SOTREP make up 2 -5% of the total population and are of the labor class or the unemployment rolls. They tend to stick together.

Social Group 3: 
The Saknich

The Saknich are another large minority (about 10 - 15% of the total population) who make up the "lower levels" of people and jobs. They speak SAKNICH, with many speaking Anglese also. They get along with other groups of people fairly well.
