Draw Borders!

Kenbrena Activity D

You are now ready to apply what you have learned about the parts of Kenbrena as you draw borders to create 4 viable countries there.

1. Divide the continent into four (4) countries on the blank map provided.  You can give each country a name if you want.

2.  List the social group(s) in each area based on your information from your work.

3. On a separate sheet of paper, word process an explanation about how and why you drew your borders for Kenbrena as you chose to.  In this rationale (reasoning) use supporting data from the Activities A, B, and C.

4. Be prepared to present your rationale for your division of Kenbrena to the class.  Hint:  a strong rationale will probably be at least a page long.  Use information about natural resources, natural boundaries, economic ($$) needs, and social concerns to provide a division that makes sense.  Examine the rubric for more guidance.
