THE SUNY LEADERSHIP
CERTIFICATE PROGRAM CONTINUES
The second course in the Leadership Certificate program
begins this January with SUNY professor, Susan Baum flying in to
lead the Leadership Cohort through EDL 610 - Methods of Adult
Education from February 15-23, 2008.
AIRLINE BOARDING PASSES STILL
REQUIRED OF ALL PD FLIGHT ACTIVITY
There has been some lingering confusion about the need for
submitting boarding passes in light of this year’s change from “home
leave supplement” to “livelihood allowance”. All flights taken for
Professional Development must be accounted for with a ticket receipt AND
ALL original boarding passes. This policy has not changed. Should you
misplace your boarding passes, you will need to contact the airline or
the travel agent and request what airlines call a “proof of flight” – a
surrogate boarding pass that is acceptable to the Taiwanese government
auditors who scrutinize all accounts at the end of each fiscal year.
Obtaining “proof of flight” typically costs (NT$100-150) per airline. Of
course, the easiest way to avoid all of this is to simply save your
boarding passes.
